El mes de Octubre se centra también en Navarra:

El Sábado 5 de Octubre tendréis la posibilidad de escuchar a Maite y John en solitario en el espectáculo “IRUÑEA KANTUAN”, organizado por Angel Mariezkurrena y retransmitido por EITB en una fecha que anunciaremos próximamente.

Será en el auditorio Baluarte, en Pamplona, y ya directamente os agradecemos vuestra respuesta, pues las entradas ya están agotadas desde hace días.

Actuarán también Xabier Euzkitze, Amaia Zubiria, Jaione Olazabal, Alberto Zunzarren, Laura Latienda, Pantxoa Carrere y habrá bonitas sorpresas. Pedro José Rodríguez actuará también con Maite en el espectáculo.



Unos días más tarde, el 17 de Octubre, tendréis de nuevo la oportunidad de disfrutar del Lied alemán de la mano de Maite y Pedro José Rodríguez. Esta vez el concierto será en la UNAV, universidad de Navarra, y la entrada será libre y abierta a todos los públicos. Será el Jueves 17 de Octubre en el edificio central. Aquellos que no tuvisteis la oportunidad de verlo en Baluarte lo podéis hacer aquí, y los que queráis repetir experiencia, no lo dudéis. La intensidad de las composiciones de Mozart, Schumann, Strauss, Hensel, Wolf, Brahms, Mahler, junto con la maestría de los grandes poetas.


El Viernes 18 de Octubre, a las 19:00h en EIBAR, y con entrada libre, podréis también disfrutar del repertorio de música histórica que Maite interpreta en solitario junto con su laud renacentista y arpa celta, de la mano de la escritora Toti Martínez de Lezea, que leerá y debatirá sobre sus novelas históricas. Aquellos que estuvieron en el Festival de Teatro Clásico de Olite el pasado Agosto ya lo pudieron experimentar, aunque esta vez, el tema de la conferencia será diferente. Será en el salón de actos de la casa de cultura “Portalea” de EIBAR.

(Remember that Elfenthal cannot be afforded by too small organizers) You will surely help me go faster with my work if you send me some good tips and links. It's not necessary that you write to them, I'll do it.

Soprano, intérprete, productora y compositora navarra. Completó sus estudios musicales, operísticos y de guitarra clásica en Pamplona, obteniendo numerosos premios y saliendo inmediatamente a Centro-Europa para continuarlos y desarrollar su carrera profesionalmente.

Ha cantado junto con algunos de los nombres más aclamados en el mundo de la ópera actual como Juan Diego Flórez, Anna María Kaufmann o Daniella Barcellona. Con varios trabajos discográficos como soprano a sus espaldas, su primer album en solitario fue una recopilación de varias de las arias más representativas de Giacomo Puccini, ("Bello "Puccini").

Como productora, comienza a trabajar con artistas de renombre de muy variadas tendencias y en 2006 funda "Elfenthal"; dos formaciones musicales que comparten un mismo nombre: Una puramente clásica (música antigua) y la otra aúna música sinfónica, ballet y rock sobre el escenario. Su primer album con composiciones y arreglos orquestales propios llegó a lo alto de las listas de ventas en el mercado alemán habiendo sido presentados en diversos medios como NDR, ZDF, MDR, SAT 1, estaciones de radio nacionales, etc. Su voz despunta en las críticas como una de las mejores de este género.

Dirigiendo esta doble formación ha compartido escenario con multitud de artistas míticos y muy variados, como pueden ser la bailarina rusa Anastasia Volochkova, el cantante Robin Gibb (Bee Gees), Paul Young, orquestas como la Internationale Symphoniker Deutschland o la Berliner Phylarmoniker rock-orchestra, el violoncelista Dmitrij Gornowski o grupos como Scorpions, Pur o André Rieu. En ambas formaciones no sólo es cantante principal sino que hace uso también de sus dotes como instrumentista, abordando instrumentos como la guitarra clásica, eléctrica, recorders, laud o arpa celta.

Maite Itoiz combina cuidadosamente sus múltiples facetas, manteniendo la pureza de cada estilo, pero siempre con sello propio.

En 2013, Maite planea el lanzamiento de su nueva gran producción discográfica y escénica, que une música neoclásica, rock-sinfónico y ballet, basada en un libro inédito de propia creación. No es la primera vez que música y literatura se juntan en su camino, pues colabora también con varios autores de renombre, como el bestseller alemán Bernhard Hennen o la escritora alavesa Toti Martínez de Lezea.

With a new special cast selected among some of the greatest musicians of the North, ELFENTHAL rocked MUSIKAIRE’s festival in Basque Country, surprising a devoted audience that once more filled up the place. Organizers said it was not usual to see all the audience so excited during the whole concert, and once again, Elfenthal got to reunite the most varied audience thanks to its range.

Not all the Rock Opera bands have the great luxury of counting on one of the best cello players of today; Georgina Sánchez Torres, whose strength, accuracy and temperament gives the show an amazing extra quality touch. Both Maite and her, come from the pure classical world, showing their capability of adapting and blending with the rock world with total elegance.

Here you can see Maite, John and Mikel Bizar, the singer of JARE, performing the song “Freedom” which was specially strong that evening.

There was battle, there was magic, there was light, there was shadow, and of course, the ELFENTHAL warriors gave their best on stage...

And of course, we also had FUN!

Elfenthal is very active in FACEBOOK! Meanwhile, the classical side of Elfenthal has been performing in some amazing locations full of historical events and on the other hand, Maite continues this year working as a producer and offering solo classical concerts that we will also publish in this website, as many of you are also attending her performances gladly, in all its formats.

Remember!!! ELFENTHAL’s ROCK OPERA SHOW will be in AOIZ (Navarre) in the CULTUR FESTIVAL, on the 23rd of AUGUST, at 22:00h!! Remember to come as early as possible to make sure you get your place in the hall!!! (We only could reserve 50 tickets for the people that was coming from very far away) LET’S ROCK NAVARRE!!!!
